This notice describes what personal data the lapiccola.it website collects, how it is used, and what rights you have, in accordance with EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR).

1. Data controller

2. What data we collect

When you use the “Request information”, “Request a quote”, “Become a distributor” or “Support” forms on this site, we collect the data you voluntarily provide: name, email address, company (if given), country, customer type, model of interest, and any further information in your message.

Like any website, our hosting provider automatically logs some technical data for security and service-operation purposes (IP address, browser type, date and time of the request). This data is not used for profiling or marketing.

This site does not use third-party profiling, analytics, or marketing cookies (see Cookie Policy).

3. Purpose and legal basis

Data collected through the contact forms is processed to respond to your request (product information, quotes, distribution enquiries, technical support). The legal basis is the consent you give when submitting the form, together with our legitimate interest in handling enquiries addressed to us.

We do not use your data for direct marketing, automated profiling, or share it with third parties for commercial purposes.

4. How data is processed

Data entered into the forms is transmitted via an email delivery service (Resend) to info@lapiccola.it, where it is handled by LaPiccola staff responsible for responding to enquiries.

Resend and our hosting provider (Vercel) are companies based in the United States; their processing of data takes place under the safeguards set out in their respective data processing agreements and the European Commission's standard contractual clauses for international data transfers.

5. Retention period

Data collected through the contact forms is kept for as long as necessary to handle the request, and subsequently for up to 24 months, unless a specific request or a legal obligation requires longer retention.

6. Your rights

As a data subject, you have the right to request access to, rectification or erasure of your personal data, restriction of processing, data portability, and to object to processing at any time (Articles 15-22 of EU Regulation 2016/679 - GDPR).

To exercise these rights, write to info@lapiccola.it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali, www.garanteprivacy.it).

7. Minors

This site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data relating to minors without parental consent.

8. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated over time, for example following changes to the site's features or to applicable law. The last-updated date is shown at the top of this page.
